Somehow, Jimmy Olsen (Jack Larson), at no fault of his own, gets
involved in a case of plutonium smuggling that has to do with a female
impersonator (Stephen Carr), an evil German (Rudolph Anders) and murder
... but good thing Olsen is best pals with Clark Kent/Superman (George
Reeves), who soon enough finds a lead that leads to Germany and to an
Colonel-friend (Selmer Jackson) of his, and to his amazement, Supie also
finds the twin brother (Howard Chamberlain) of a man murdered in
connection with the case ... and from there on, it's easy for a superman
like Superman to solve the case and save Jimmy.
By far not the best episode of the series, but can a story involving
plutonium smuggling and a crossdresser be all bad ? I think not.
