By day, he's a normal super market clerk, but by night he's ... transvestite
agent Iron Pussy (Michael Shaowanasai), & as such he is hired by the secret
service to spy out Tang (Krissada Terrence), an evil man who is planning
something very evil ... though nobody knows what. So Iron Pussy goes into
Tang's employ disguised as servant girl Gamduan, & he/she soon catches the
eye of her employer evil Tang & the 2 fall in love. & when one evening,
at a celebration, the singer Songjutana falls ill, Iron Pussy can persuade
everybody to take her place, & her singing for a big audience enchants
everybody, including Tang & his partner in crime Ood, & the 2 agree to
take her with them on the big game hunt they are planning for the next day. The
next day though, Iron Pussy catches Tang alone, but realizes he can't hurt him,
as he's her lover. Then Tang turns the tables, & wants to kill Iron Pussy,
when his mother (Siriyakorn
Pukkavesh) intervenes, & tells him Iron Pussy is his long lost
sister (or brother ?) whom she has given away after birth ... As he can't
kill his own sibling, Tang changes his plans & takes her & his own
mother as prisoners to skeleton mountain, where he is mining for ... nirvana
(!?!). Mama & Iron Pussy are soon freed though by none other than singer
Songjutana, who is captured by Tang for this though, tied up & questioned,
& turns out to be none other than his own girlfriend whom he thought away
in New Zealand, but who is indeed a secret agent who has just taken a different
disguise to have an eye on him.After this confession she promptly dies. Iron
Pussy however has come back, saves Mama & blows up the cave, to be
ultimately saved herself by her boyfriend Pew, who dies in the process though. Still,
somehow Tang has escaped the explosion as well (even though he has been clearly
seen to be smashed by a rock) & he now threatens Iron Pussy's life yet
again, but in the ensuing fight they realize they are still lovers (despite
being siblings) & can't kill each other ... until an earthquake hurls them
off a cliff & to save their lives they have to hang onto each other, until
Tang voluntarily gives his life to save Iron Pussy ... much to the regret of
his mother of course, who had years ago given away Iron Pussy as she had been
told by a fortune teller that one of her children will ultimately kill the
other one - & now she has to realize one can't cheat fate. The
Adventure of Iron Pussy is an at times extremely clever, at time extremely
sills (& ofttimes both) take on (secret agent) pulp fiction, taking as many
elements as possible from the pulp fiction lore - including incest, love
between foes, villainous mining operations, laid away children, sibling
rivalry, characters breaking out into romantic songs, ... -, that has so often
been plundered by pulp nobvels, serials & motion pictures from all around
the globe, but giving it a further spin & presenting it in an over-the-top
cheesy fashion that one just has to love (or absolutely hate) it despite quite
some deficiencies in storytelling & direction (or just because of them),
& some too over-the-top jokes that just do not work.
