A high school student falls in love with the creepy girl in his class
after seeing her in a bathing suit - and then she catches him leaning over
his biggest rival in school who he had to spend detention with - and the
rival has been brutally slaughtered. Fortunately though, creepy girl doesn't
come to the obvious conclusion and instead helps him getting rid of the
evidence suggesting he might be involved in the killing, then the two try
to track down the murderer, and soon come up with a teacher who has stolen
the dead boy's laptop and who has obviously been blackmailed by the dead
boy. After a chase through the whole school, our heroic duo manage to stop
the teacher cold in his tracks ... but then they find evidence that just
doesn't match, and rather by accident they stumble over another teacher
who has done some drugrunning in school and who has also been on the
deceased boy's blackmailing list. However, this knowledge puts out two
heroes on the "to-kill" list of the evil teacher, and only the
timely intervention of the school's commitee on an inspection trip - so
far the film's running gag - keeps the kids from being killed and sees to
it that Mr teacher gets his just desserts. Ok murder mystery
that remains entertaining throughout thanks to its light-footed approach
and its refusal to take itself too seriously - but having said that, the
film also offers virtually nothing new, neither on a story level nor in
terms of direction, and even the plot twists that are supposed to surprise
seem to announce themselves long before they occur. Still, ok
entertainment I presume, but don't expect anything original.
