Operating out of southern Ohio, Gina Marie Ferraro is a young woman of
multiple talents. She is just picking up steam in the world of indie film,
however, and could develop into somehting quite worthwhile in time to come.
Keep an eye out for the name and face.
Graduating from Wright State University in Dayton, she obtained a degree in
Mass Communication. She also played women's basketball for several years
beforehand and engaged in other sports. She spent two years as a kickboxer as
well.
During the past few years, she has also had varied parts in independent horror
films, as well as other credits. She has been seen in a variety for
commercials. Movie roles have included Out of Darkness, Demon
Hunters, Descent
Into Darkness II, and other films. She hosted Razor, a tv program dealing with
subcultures in southern Ohio and became a cohost for The Morning Show, again
in southern Ohio, in the spring of 2005.
Ferraro was likewise one of the semi-finalists in the WWE Diva Search seen on
Spike TV, though she did not win the competition. While making it into this
ultrabig wrestling promotion did not pan out as planned, the show did help get
her a great deal of recognition. Certain independent promotions running in the
Ohio and Kentucky area have expressed interest in using her, but whether or
not this comes to pass will remain to be seen. The problem is not one of lack
of looks or talent, but a matter of timing for the actress, who is already spread
thin with a number of activities.
There are also pending film deals in the horror realm, being looked into as
well. These deals would require a great deal of timing which again, the
actress is pressed for.
Well, it beats having no work or bookings at all.
