You are one of the directors of the upcoming anthology movie Theatre of the Deranged - what can you tell us about the film and your segment in it?

The film is a fun anthology of shorts with this really funny host that takes us through it all. My film is Cannibal Blood Girl about a murdered porn star's revenge on crappy guys (and whoever else is around) after her being killed by passing on HIV. Her "superpower" is a highly advanced form of überAIDS that basically melts people that she can shoot out of every orifice of her body. It's kinda funny.

How did you/your film become a part of the Theatre of the Deranged-project in the first place, and what can you tell us about its showrunners James Cullen Bressack [James Cullen Bressack interview - click here] and Jarret Cohen?

They have actually been a part of the production side of my film Finger Bang and also my documentary I shot in October, Reanimated Roadkill, about my band's US tour. James also starred in my film I Was a Teenage Suicide that I shot back in August.

Let's talk about Cannibal Blood Girl itself for a bit now: What were your inspirations when writing the movie?

I was talking to one of the film's stars, Kevin Scott, about if I ever wanted to do a crazy short. I shot out superaids and he said "no, don't do that!" - days later I told James the story and he was all "let's do it!"

The words "cannibal" and "blood" in your film's title alone suggest lots of gore and violence - so what are we to expect in that respect?

Blood, cannibals, nudity, laughs.

The cannibal film has a long tradition in exploitation cinema. Are you paying hommage to any of the cannibal-classics and -not-so-classics in Cannibal Blood Girl, and your genre favourites?

Honestly, I am such a fan of how subgenres start, the bandwagon, then the fizzle, that I love to explore all of them. The Cannibal Boom of the 70's and early 80's was one of the most riveting genres that came and went so quickly, it just fills me with excitement. Cannibal Holocaust is one of my favorite films, one of the first (if not the first) found footage films, and has one of the most beautiful scores around, and had so much controversy that it is just a timeless film to me.

How would you describe your directorial approach to your subject matter?

Not over thinking anything. This is just a fun, quick short that would make a really fun feature some day. This film is one of the times that I spent more on the SFX-look than worrying about other things. So in that respect it was very different for me.

Sophie Dee

Your film stars adult stars Sophie Dee [Sophie Dee interview - click here] and Veronica Ricci. How and why did you get them, and what was it like working with them?

Veronica I had worked with on Bloody Mary 3D and Finger Bang. She is just really fun to be around. Sophie worked with James on another film right before this one. I guess it's nice to work with girls that love the idea of what you're doing and have a great sense of humor about it.

A few words about the rest of your cast and crew?

Brain Redban is the host of the Deathsquad-podcasts and he is a riot. Kevin E.Scott has been in a couple of my films. Ivy Pemberton was in I Was a Teenage Suicide and Doug Waugh is a producer that works with Kevin a lot and I acted in a film they did called The Video Gore.

As far as I know, Theater of Derange II is in its early development stages. Will you be, or would you like to be, part of that?

Not sure yet. I'm sure I'll do something. Lol.

Any other future projects you'd like to talk about?

There is a bunch. Lol. But, not sure where to go from it. I just posted some updates at www.creepcreepersin.com for more info.
